Clockwork Guild Hall Cost Calculator!

I’ll admit that I was pretty excited to be in the room when guild halls were finally revealed.  The sheer size of the Tier 3 “Island Fortress” is fairly intense.  It’s at least five times the size of a zone like Qeynos Harbor with rooms and staircases that go on forever.

When Jindrack and Rothgar began to show off the list of amenities to the assembled Fanfaire attendees, they scrolled through pretty quickly.  What they didn’t count on was that our own Clockwork Cameraman Pantheros was on-hand to snap off several dozen “burst” shots on his high end Canon SLR.  The short version is that we managed to collect every revealed amenity and cost that SOE saw fit to put on the screen and scroll through.

Now, because we really want to share that information with the rest of you, our Clockwork Overlord, Zobek, has been hard at work over the past few days building out a Ennumeration Calculatron Device (something like that) for us to use to figure out just how expensive a Guild Hall will be for us.  However, this tool is just so much fun to play with, we’ve decided to make it available to everyone to use.

So, for your enjoyment, I present the Clockwork Gamer Guild Hall Cost Calculator, which you can also find under the handy “tools” tab above.  Have fun planning!

Way to put the information together guys! We’re going to need a lot of plat and status…

    Very cool.

It was said in one of the panels that the Status Executor buys status items. I dunno if it sells anything.

Orrery is misspelled “Orrey” in one spot (yes, minor nitpicking).

The amenities for Tier 3 guild halls only, could they be grayed out for tier 1 and 2?

    Fantastic, wonderful tool, though 🙂

    @tipa:

I’ll try to roll in info about the Status Executor later tonight… and as far as the Orrery goes, I was thinking that too… but the window SOE had up at Fan Faire distinctly said “Orrey”. Looks like it may be /typo time in-game if that misspelling goes live… =)

As far as other features go, the following are things I hope to build in yet:

    Enabling/disabling amenities based on tier
Enabling/disabling amenities based on server type (PVP, PVE, LiveGamer)
Amenity limit calculation – Jindrack just posted slot counts on the official boards, and they’re based not only on tier but guild level too.
Purchase and Upkeep cost for each amenity in the tooltip display
Breakdown of hall purchase/upkeep separate from amenity purchase/upkeep

That is some pretty coding. =P

I’ve just posted an update to the calculator. You can now enter your guild’s level and it will tell you how many amenity slots you will have, based on guild level and hall tier. In addition, if you check more boxes than you have slots, you’ll get a warning that you’ve exceeded your limit!

Also, added the Miner Hireling. We didn’t get pictures of this one Fan Faire, but added it since we’ve had multiple inquiries about it.

Still using this! Good job, keep it up.
